Our Clients Problem
Our client has a converted industrial premises, modified to residential use a number of years ago. Whilst it was striking visually, it struggled with poor insulation, no ceilings with high roofs and very high solar gain. All this led to high temperatures in summer and their premises being cold in winter, which led to high energy bills in the colder months. The challenge was to achieve energy-efficient heating and cooling whilst still maintaining the high end aesthetic, both on the inside and out.
Details of Air Conditioning installation
We opted for a Daikin Multi-split system which serves the master bedroom and the living room. Daikin is a well know manufacturer in the UK and their visuals are very appealing but part of the challenge for us to ensure our pipework was contained din trunking which matched the relevant colour schemes of the building. You'll note we change trunking and drain-pipe colour in at least two places you can see in these photos; all so the services can blend in with the colour scheme.
