Our Clients Problem
Our client was refurbishing a couple of sites but, as with many older existing buildings, the Indoor Air Quality was not as good as it should have been. With Building Regulations stipulating that occupants need fresh air provision in a way that wasn't the case with older, more established, buildings they turned to us for assistance!
Details of Ventilation installation
The solution here is to install MVHR's - that's Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems. These systems extract room air and discharge it to the exterior and at the same time they introduce fresh air from the outside and discharge to the interior. The real magic comes from the internal exchange matrix capturing the heat from the extract air and imparting it to the fresh air coming in. With no heaters whatsoever, the fresh air coming in is almost the same temperature as the existing room temperature air! Fantastic!
