Our Clients Problem
Our client was vacating their building and, under the conditions of their lease, they had to decommission and remove their air conditioning system. Many people think it's simply a matter of disconnecting a system and then removing it from site. That's not right though - first we have to remove the refrigerant and dispose of it safely and appropriately!
Details of Air Conditioning maintenance
Firstly, we have to recover the refrigerant contained within the system and decant it in to a recovery cylinder. This cylinder is then sent back to the manufacturer for recycling so that it can be used again, or, it's incinerated at high temperatures. Refrigerant is harmful to the ozone layer and is a significant contributor to global warming as well, so it's critical that this product is disposed of correctly! Once this is done we can remove the a/c equipment for appropriate recycling.
