Our Clients Problem
Our client had a wonderful drama department at their school but they struggled with high temperatures when they attracted crowds, even with modestly sized numbers. With large crowds, and productions which sometimes included high-energy performances, the heat could become unbearable, even in the Autumn and Spring.
Details of Air Conditioning installation
We proposed the installation of a number of Mitsubishi Heavy industries 10kW wall mounted split system to the theatre in this schools Drama Department. These 10kW units are first in class when in comes to air distribution throughout a room, with 'air throws' up to 20metres. This makes them ideal for cooling large rooms where the units may be on the other side of a large room from where the occupants are sited. To ensure we didn't distract the performers, or audience, we routed the pipework in black PVC trunking so this would blend in with the walls. The idea being that only the performers need shine in an otherwise darkened room!
